Re: Nokia N950 screen broke! :(

No, sorry, don't know of anything in France. I was hoping an E7 screen would be the fix for my n950, but I guess not :(. Thanks for the information.

Re: Nokia N950 screen broke! :(

Thanks - I have an N950 with the LCD "leak"ing problem and would love to get the screen fixed. Did someone say the E7's screen is the same (as the N950's)?

Re: N9/N950 Contacts/IM - Get help & give feedback here

First off, thanks very much for the source! It's excellent, both in and of itself and as an example of how to do this type of work.

Do you do development on the/a device? Do you recommend a...

Re: terminal/shell (n9)

Just swipe down, starting and ending the swipe in the vkbd. Works for me on N950 beta2.

Re: N900 is virtually impossible to "brick" here is the chance for everyone to have input on this and put credibilty back to the N900.

Evolving to replace specificity with ambiguity where there are already ambiguous terms is a net loss, I'd say.

My 2nd n900 main board has developed some problems so I got an n900 mainboard from a computer mall in Shenzhen. It's pretty odd:

1) it boots into the lock screen, in Dutch, saying...

Re: [Announce] "Alarmed" scheduling App (supports automatic GPRS data counter resetting)

Changing the date +%H to date +%I can remove a lot of repetition:

I'm not sure you need /bin/bash - /bin/sh would seem to be sufficient.

Re: [Announce] Erminig-NG: two-way synchronization Google Calendar <-> Fremantle Calendar

I had the same problem. There are less than a handful of places in the code where it calls some gtk exception reporting class - just add an "if not <-d set>" test to them
