Yes, i confirm the issue. Something changed at evernote side, maybe ssl connection issue. Now we have to wait until someone fix this with qvernote.

Ok coming down the pipe is a better way to do BME, using this method you can charge without worrying about shorted USB data leads, this is both for internal soldered chargers and Qi...

Nice find, I suspect the data pins if assembled unshorted could be shorted at the other end of the cable with a bit of scraped insulation and twisting the wires if you don't want to...

The secondary, or non pulsing non-BME charge mode is fine to use, the phone will charge to full and then stop the charge. I don't remember if the orange light turns off or turns green...

WIth the shorted pins you would never know that you were not using the Nokia high power mains charger, the battery meter works the same, orange light pulses the same, everything is running as stock...
