Maybe you should modprobe the needed modules. also, iirc ofono expects control gpios to be symlinked, somewhere. there is some script...

Hmm, modem support is there since 3.16 iirc. speech support will be in 4.1, see https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/next/linux-next.git/tree/drivers/hsi/clients
