What's so special about Sailfish? OK, I get it, it is Linux. But in what way is it better than any other Linux? If anything, I see it quite crippled compared to even its predecessor.

Anbox is not an emulator nor virtual layer. It's a container, but runs on the kernel and hardware of machine itself, much like how it runs on SailfishOS. Performance should be excellent.
