I came on board for the 770, kind of accepted the abandoning of it for the 8xx as it was the first step, but stopped short of going for the 9 because I'd learnt the lesson of nokia's...

it just confirms why I don't want it - look at the beautiful screen of the N810 - rover just won't hack it for watching vids, one of my primary uses for NITs.

N97 being marketed like a NIT in the uk?
fullpage ads in sunday magazines, internet ads on sites like NME, the n97 is getting the kind of push we all wanted to see for the NITs previously, and the weird thing is they're all based on the web...

IF this is true, I am very, very disappointed indeed. That is a phone, not the next gen IT.
the screen size of the N8x is great for video on the plane/train, reading books etc. this is an iphone...
