Here's an updated deb for the N900 Maemo5 version. (0.7.0)

In my quick tests it's working fine against VLC 2.0.1 - linux and windows
Should still support VLC 1.0 as well.

If you have gst-launch installed on the n900 (in the gstreamer-tools package), once you've ssh'ed in you can:

gst-launch autoaudiosrc ! autoaudiosink

will send the input (mic) to the output...

Where've you got it downloaded to? If it's the Fat32 partition you can't get execute rights. Elsewhere, have you tried 'chmod +x'?

You could still be without some dependencies after that but...
