YEs,the apps and their data remained as it is when I upgraded from 2.3.4 to 2.3.7.
I am sure that s also the case for n14 or CM900 alpha1,though I havent checked it yet.

The auto-installer cannot do anything to the memory avaialble,since it is dependant on another thing [see OptFs].
There is a way to change this,but this requires a lot of work,,,,,

Even mine got stuck at 'NOKIA' logo,but only when I unzipped over an ICS installation.
Unzipping over Gingerbread gave mixed results as described above....

I ran it....unzipped it on my existing Gingerbread(even etc and lib folders,separately),and it looked like a wierd hybrid of ICS and gingerbread.

Yes,it is playable without multitouch,with some patience.....But I am not able to save the game
And also,I am not able to install Asphalt 6,or Nova2.......:(

I know that its best to use the native res,as in the case of the pre-loaded videos I got with my phone,but my main problem is converting large number of movies or videos for it.
