Ok, I installed it using apt-get and it upgraded those packages and a few other Python2.5 QT packages.

I hope it doesn't break any other programs.

I had a wifi problem too. I thought it was just me and concluded I must have edited /etc/dnsmasq.conf and thus the upgrade didn't overwrite that file cause it had changed, but I needed the changes it...

Oh good one.

Well what I did was 3 things:

1. Become root, run visudo. In that text file [be careful] add line:
user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/local/bin/118
ie type
O
user ALL = NOPASSWD:...

I have noticed with the ssh server that I can't login remotely [and maybe locally but can't be tested] until I open a login shell.

Initially I thought it to be a PITA,...

It's the Debian way to only use runlevel 2. Red Hat uses runlevel 5 as main runlevel, with varying services starting on the other runlevels.

I don't know why Debian just doesn't use BSD style...

Thanks. I am going to try that. hopefully it solves it. So far the tiny bit of tape in the corner has come off in everyday use. How is yours going??

Hmmm that's exactly what I did, plus covered the top part too with same tape.
No difference for me.

I was beginning to think its more the underneath part of the chrome; the side away from this...

So what is it on the cover that is causing the problem exactly?
I thought it was the chrome come around the camera/flash but covering the chrome around the flash in...

How bad is the mail client...

I am LOVING my N900. It is so fantastic.

But it is not without its downfalls [all software so sure to be fixed ]

The email client for me, is unbelievably bad.
1. It takes about 20mins to check...
