as per my incessant nagging, mplayer now supports synchronized playback between devices - you can sync playback of music and video between n900 and pc for example.
note this is just syncrhonizing...

Wish I had seen this earlier - ordered a N900 from them and it never arrived with lots of email 'yes please be patient' etc. Their ebay account has disappeared and paypal refuses to open a case...

Spent half of today reducing cpu usage from ~70 to ~35%, finished up with some updated spell icons.

I have tested N900 extensively without speaker protection. Sine-waves become well audible above approximately 200hz.

A number of cheap ptz network security cameras are available now with web interfaces You can easily watch these from the N900 or other maemo device:
With my 'Hootoo" brand PTZ camera it works...
