For some contacts it shows up immediately as i open the app. For some i have to open their chat and go back to the list, then it shows...

Then someone should try removing account and trying again.
I have 2 accounts working perfectly in whatsup, one in my n9 and another in my jolla, and I don't get this issue.

Whatsup switchs between c.whatsapp.net and c2.whatsapp.net every time you try to login. I've readed s40 source and couldn't find anything different (except web login wich I don't care at the moment)....

hmmmm That'd be nice. However, if it *only* has AlienDalvik, it is not sufficient to run Android binaries. Actually, is has been already demonstrated by thp that you can run AlienDalvik in Harmattan...
