It's not where it comes from, but Maemo doesn't sound that exotic to me: It's just one letter short of maaemo (= mother earth in Finnish).

Yes they are. I wanted that N900! They dangled it in front of my face and then took it away, giving me a T-shirt that reminds me of it instead. That is cruel. ;)

I object to that! It's obvious that the N900 is especially well-suited for stuffed animals. Capacitive screens don't work with fabric paws.

As separate communities that would hopefully self-organize? People who don't speak English won't take part in this forum in any case. :)

I don't see what would be the reason to try to control...
