Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Good news, everybody.

You may remember that a while back I was working on porting a modern GTK+ and glib stack. Well, I haven't gotten GTK+ done yet (tens of thousands of lines of patch code),...

Perfect keyboard solution for N800--won't get better than this

If you're like me, you've always had a dream to use your N800/N810/770 as a full-time computer/office tool. The one thing that holds us back, however, is the lack of a good keyboard solution for...

Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Doesn't the internet video call app just use the Telepathy libraries? telepathy-gabble library handles GTalk integration, I think, and I assume that telepathy uses gstreamer as its A/V backend...so...

Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Hmm, so you're saying that media player already has an H264 codec?

I'm completely unfamiliar with Google Talk's interfaces, but it looks like it's all fairly open standards compliant. ...

Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Yep. A.K.A. upgrading AbiWord the hard way =)

Maybe? It would be awesome if we could integrate it with the chat/dialer app.

Looks like Google Talk uses H.264 for video...

Re: [Announce] First "stable" Diablo community SSU released and call for participation

Is the CSSU effort still alive? I've been doing some updating efforts of my own and have ported Maemo 4.x API changes to new versions of glib, libpixmap, cairo, pango, and atk. My idea is to get a...

Re: Bluetooth/USB keyboard slowness/lag consensus?

I just bought a USB female-female gender changer to plug my USB keyboard in on one end and a USB to micro USB cable leading to my N800 on the other end. I hooked everything up, typed "echo host >...

Re: Abiword now on n900

Hi y'all, I was the old maintainer for the N8x0 package of AbiWord, and it's been a while since I've been involved in Maemo development. I'm working for AbiWord through GSoC this summer and we've...

N800 power consumption statistics

Hi all,

I just bought a Kill A Watt P4400 from RadioShack and I thought that I would share my very unscientific findings with you about my N800's power consumption profile. I hope that someone...

Arrow Ad-hoc Fremantle/Mer system package backports for Diablo

Hi everyone,

I've recently become vaguely involved in the Mer/Fremantle-not-just-on-N900 effort and I started to backport a few random system packages as a challenge and with the aim of perhaps...

Re: USB mini-keyboard HowTo

Fragos,

Which version of AbiWord were you using, and what bugs did you encounter? I'm trying to fix all Maemo-related bugs in the program.

Re: Announce: AbiWord 2.8.1

I've been in touch with some of them via IRC, but not with Hubert, who seems to be spearheading the Maemo effort, so I'm not sure about their exact plans. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck...
