Looks like the correct process (works for me anyway) is to remove the certificate from the Root CA store by doing (as root):

cmcli -c common-ca -r 8868bfe08e35c43b386b62f7283b8481c80cd74d

- dpkg -l | grep multiboot will detect if multiboot _had_ been installed but has been removed - use:

dpkg -l | grep "ii multiboot"...

I don't think HAM is interested in connection type. It works perfectly, no matter of connection type(e.g. 3G or WIFI). HAM will check for updates at the time that you have ran the gconftool command...
