Short review of battery desktop charger
Like a lot of people are finding, their N900 battery can run down pretty fast, particularly when you've got it connected all the time to either wifi or 3G, you've got push email or various widgets...

Are you guys with the spare batteries and desktop charger solution using OEM Nokia batteries or third party knock-off's?? I'd be wary about using third party...have heard some horror stories.

This may be a good argument for buying a cheap desktop charger and a few batteries. Then there is no reason to plug in the usb charge cable multiple times a day.
I like using the desktop charger...

USB PORT ISSUE
Not to make you folks paranoid, but it will be a good thing to keep in back of your mind when your connecting and disconnecting the usb charge cable multiple times/day. Many N900...

i got it less than a week ago too. i use it instead of my macbook when i just want too browse! (like now!) i was going to get the htc desire, but damn, the keyboard is superb! never used a hardware...

I ordered mine as well on the 12th of February, for pretty much the same reasons as above, but am still waiting, seem to be pretty much all sold out in Germany. Got it for Euro 29 + new phone...

The native browser is a load better than mobile firefox in it's current condition. 1.0.0 just an FYI :)

Welcome! I've had the phone on my desk for a while (still waiting on a SIM card), and it's been working very well! The Extras repository will be something worth enabling and browsing!
