Seems I found a new 'magic sequence' that enables hostmode without relying on fake HNP.
Means more devices should work, no reboot should be needed, no special timings to observe.

for a short update:
Not user friendliness is the problem, but the fact working hostmode was a random success not reproducible with 49 out of 50 peripherals. So ATM we try to completely reimplement...

That seems like a problem with the jar, not the JVM....
Do you have a simple java app jarfile to run to test the JVM? REALLY simple....like just creating an application window.
