Solved my problem.

what I did:

mkfs.ext3 on /dev/mmcblk0p2 (from backupmenu root console)
then
flashed combined image to device

problems seem solved the way I wanted :)

is N900 service port (which is usb-compatible) separate from N900 micro-usb port? if yes I would like to have that port forwarded into the case (it also might help guys with broken usb port).

About my batterry measure bug.
It seems some nokia stuff (or were it CSSU?) couldn't read batterry info while charging behaves properly, and bnf was not fooled by this bug.
Both default statusbar...

Drax do not troll. The most important thing is both VDD working perfectly (including when overclocked) which result in lower battery usage.

it seems a bug from stock N900 which could trigger only with non-stock bootware. Or a bug in multiboot/bootmenu only. Why the approach helped? N900 were probably in locked state which couldn't be...

Yeah the context is ambignous, but I believe the person quoted the picture had almost same effects onscreen. It seems like hardware bug which is not permanent (because it can be recovered later)....

sure but guys like me with only one batterry have to recharge it to max, or perhaps even full recharge cycle (to min and back to max). It's annoying but acceptable since people do not reflash...
