Re: Where does the N900 save rear camera video?

The only other possible location would be
/home/user/MyDocs/.videos/
but even before the CSSU I don't think they were saved there.

Re: Where does the N900 save rear camera video?

If you have a micoSD card in, it will be
/media/mmc1/DCIM/

if you don't, it will be stored locally in
/home/user/MyDocs/DCIM/

Re: N900 as a WiFi range extender?

I don't think it's possible because the N900 wifi chip (firmware) does not support Infrastructure mode (only Ad-hoc), so I think regardless of the OS it won't work.

Re: Where does the N900 save front camera video?

It doesn't as there is not out-of-the-box software that records video from the front camera. The camera program, for example, only uses the rear camera.

I'm sure someone can provide a script to...

Re: N900 vibration is DEAD!

It sounds like you had the same problem I had once. That's how it begins, you can only hear a small noise and it will work again if you hit the device. Eventually, it will not work altogether. This...

Re: Strange or not? Two more strongly illuminated points on the screen.

Funny enough, I have the same exact spots as you guys have posted (and confirmed). My n900 is from Nov 09 and still going strong.

Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 0 of 7)

What if I've already been using my n900 since November 2009 as my daily phone?

Edit: Why is this in the Neo900 subforum?

Re: N900 screen delamination - digitizer?

I think this is an age-ing problem. I've had mine since launch and I never used a screen protector for 4 years. November of last year i started noticing this delamination occuring. That's when I...

Re: [Announce] QML Browser - Web browser written using Qt Components Hildon

This is great, I'll give it a spin. I hadn't used it since 0.1 since it was very bare-bones but quick, lets see if it's better now.

Is there any purpose left for the front-facing camera anymore?

With some relevance to the Neo900 (some asked if we can upgrade the camera), though not posting it there since it's not entirely focused on that. Is there any use for the front-facing camera anymore?...

It depends on where you live. How is import tax dealt with (in general)?

Re: [Announce] cuteTube - A feature-rich YouTube client

The youtube API only allows for relevance, date, views, and rating. If it can't be done on the website itself then it's probably not available. I'm sure it's doable but it will require more local...

Re: [Announce] cuteTube - A feature-rich YouTube client

Yes, there is a changelog. If you use FAPman (which I use primarily since it's much faster than HAM), you can see the full debian change log history inside. Here's the changelog for 1.9.1

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Open Gamepad for N900, 3D Printable

The n900 fits and the holes match the keyboard buttons the problem is that it's too tall in the Z axis so it moves up and down. Also, even though the keyboard buttons match the gamepad buttons, the...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Open Gamepad for N900, 3D Printable

My print finished some time ago but none of the holes align where they should. There is too much room for the n900 so it doesn't fit snugly. The usb port and the headphone jack don't align at all and...

Re: Finally: GL to GLES runtime (glshim from openpandora)

This is awesome! I'll have to compile this in scratchbox and check it out tonight though the idea isn't exactly new. I'm more interested in the performance and compatibility.

Re: Qt development on-device (N900)

I've uploaded an archive with all
/lib/
/bin/
/include/

I'm not sure to what extend which libraries are missing, I...

Re: Qt development on-device (N900)

Re: [Announce] CSSU Testing thread

Under /home/user/.modest/cache/imap, the cache was totalling 900MB even though I do not...
