As a developer shouldn't you consider it as a feedback rather than a rude comment? Developers enhance their programs through negative feedbacks not abandoning it when hearing one only.. :/

Maemo 5 has a whole separate team focused right now on bringing you lots of goodies in the already announced upcoming PR1.2 release for Maemo 5. Nokia is a pretty big company and Maemo's not so small...

Just to answer the factual parts. Qt 4.0 came out in 2005, 4.2 in 2006. Maemo does not include KDE so stability comparisons based on it are dubious at best.

Whilst of course technically correct, one would expect that if using the term 'Ovi Maps' for the N900, the majority of buyers would assume the same functionality that all 'Ovi Maps' have on Nokia...

proxies are pretty obviously a very neglected part of maemo5 just look at the horrible UI in Settings>Internet connections>Connections>Edit>Next(3)>Advanced

That hasnt even been optimized for...
