Re: PETITION to Abill_uk to release the full "how to" of the USB Fix and USB HOST MODE to this Community.

Sounds like we're going to need another poll to decide this!

It's great to see these threads about abill_uk to get an update on what (s)he has been saying because they've been on my ignore list...

Re: should people who anonymously troll via tags have their tagging privileges revoked?

I'll say it again - you don't need 300 posts! Either that, or I've got tagging permissions when I shouldn't have. I'll edit this message to add a screenshot of the tag 'nick.read tag' having been...

Re: What is missing in this photo we "all" know?

It doesn't have a battery cover. I can't see it, so it must not be there.

It's also missing a 5mp camera lens and a battery.

Re: should d**kheads who anonymously troll via tags have their tagging privileges revoked?

If you're going to ask for forum or rule changes, start by abiding by the rules. See http://talk.maemo.org/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_tmorulestext - Foul language. Note the part about changing...

Re: should d**kheads who anonymously troll via tags have their tagging privileges revoked?

As said above, admins know who made tags. If the tag violates the code of conduct, then they can take action. If you want to report it, just report the first post in the thread with a message...

Re: Can't access tweetgo.net

I'm assuming the author decided to pull the plug finally: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=60776

Did anyone grab the source code from him? I may have somewhere to host it.

Re: Bye Maemo, Hi Android!

Asking for advise on new Android phones on a Maemo forum isn't really a great idea, because most people on these forums aren't using Android phones. I don't see why you keep hanging around to offend...

Re: Nokia finishes Maemo5 support

Agreed - it's *much* better than nothing :) I just find there to be a large disconnect in the jump from Maemo to Meego on the N900, yet it keeps being touted as way forward for people. Yes, it is a...

Re: Nokia finishes Maemo5 support

Your comparison is not really accurate. Nokia are helping to produce a community/reference UX that will not include integration into OVI services (maps, chat, mail, etc...). Google have released...

Re: its not you nokia. its me.

I don't understand why several posts are saying this: even if they didn't form their problem as a question, nor actually ask for help, they are clearly having what is a solveable problem that is...

Re: PR 1.3 is live now!

It "feels" faster and smoother, but that's all subjective. Haven't noticed any other changes, but haven't exactly been looking hard either. A full change log would be good.

Also, is there a...

Re: Maemo Missteps, your thoughts?

MeeGo ships a new stable release every 6 months and its development is continuous.

I don't think that is what Gazza was referring to. At the moment you flash (or OTA upgrade) your N900...

Re: Speculation about the next firmware (PR1.2) and its release date

How do you know he doesn't know their fears? :D

Anyway, everyone knows that PR1.1.1 was the last major maemo update that will ever be released for the N900, and we may as well use these devices as...
