My update in SailX to 3.0.0.5 using GUI had failed (stuck at sailfish progress bar after reboot), updated manually and all worked fine except since then pkcon update failed "aborted...

I've hated the builtin calendar ever since the n900 came out for exactly this behaviour. There is no solution for this AFAIK.

AFAIK current syncevolution on desktop can act as a server and has recently implemented mobile phone-sync. Never tried it, though.
