You can create your own vpnc configuration file and
then enter

/opt/vpn9c/bin/vpnc.sh < your_config_file

on command line

i.e. redirect stdin of the wrapper script from a file.

It is a "security" feature of vpn9c -- when the pcf file is loaded
and saved, then the pcf file is removed. The configuration
is saved to /home/user/private so it is unreadable by any
other...

Now, the version 1.0 is available in Ovi Store

I had to remove version 0.550 installation before
this installed (maybe my test version had version 1.0
set in debian/changelog ;)

I applied a patch that adds natt 03 and lifetime negotiations (I think)

(vpnc-fritzbox.patch from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=629646 , modified to apply on 0.5.3)

Developer mode can touch /etc/network/interfaces; the
/usr/lib/sdk-connectivity-tool/bin/usb0.pl does the editing
of that file.
I've spent a good amount of time to re-check the contents

open MADDE terminal and enter:


echo > /etc/fstab


This removes the /home -mapping and makes things work.

I created basically identical paths myself and it still works (which is good
as the bug would have been severe...)

now cd back to 'qthello' -directory. then try the following commands:


ls .....
