Tmaemo1 release has some packages (esp tinymail/modest) that for muddled reasons got compiled for thumb, this causes instability and lots of program aborts.

Jonwil seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to reverse engineering. you can check the maemo irc logs to see his progress on reverse engineering fremantle components.

nothing more annoying than using my n900 in portrait mode only to realise i need to enter a few letters which means i have to use the full keyboard (which needs two hands) or trying to...
