Go ahead.
The risk is really minimal.
I've been using it since the beginning and everytime there is an upgrade, my phone seems like it just got a boost and improvement.

I have never had any...

Re: nokia.com repositories are down

I got the same ones, except for the System updates.

There are no more updates from them anyway, so in any case, this repo is useless.

Bonjour chez toi!

I installed it on my class 6 mmc and booted.
It takes about 2 minutes to load up and once you get on the desktop, one would...

Re: Battery Drain 3 4 hours just a question.

you can check power hungry process with the "top" command.
It will put the highest power hungry process to lowest from top to bottom.
That should give you a hint on what is burning up your battery.

Re: [Question] - Does the Smartreflex work in P.R. 1.3?

Just my experience,

I've been using Smartreflex for 3 weeks now with pr.13+CSSU @600Mhz kernel power.

The device is very stable, the speed is ok, and the battery life is much better.
I get...

Re: repeat: why does wifi not update email, when broadband does?

It sounds to me that it's a firewall setting on your router.

If you're using POP3.
Make sure that port TCP 110 (or 995 if Exchange is using SSL) is open.

If you're using IMAP
Make sure that...

Re: repeat: why does wifi not update email, when broadband does?

electristan is right,
Try disabling power saving function. Most routers do not support this option and you get weird (dis)connection bugs because of it.

Re: How do I downgrade Titan's kernel from v46 to v45?

That's correct, you will lose your programs. As for data, I don't remember because I always had a backup.
Anyways, good luck.

Re: How do I downgrade Titan's kernel from v46 to v45?

I believe it's step 6 before step 5.
The command needs to be run before plugin in the device.
The rest is correct.

EDIT : My bad, under Windows, step 5 is done before step 6 as the wiki says.

Re: How do I downgrade Titan's kernel from v46 to v45?

Watch out, kernel power 45 integrated u-boot by default and was quickly removed because it was buggy and could render your phone unable to start.
Check the forum about that.

Good luck.
