Re: [ANNOUNCE] Alpha release of Open Media Player

Another thing that maybe should be looked into. Using Conky I noticed the mafw-dbus-wrapper mafw-gst-renderer process taking up lots of CPU time, even without using the media player. So, if I just...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Alpha release of Open Media Player

I guess I found a bug. When watching a video (XVID), the tracker reports in every 15 minutes or so, reporting it has 0 files left to index.. have to press the notification for it to go away. Did not...

Re: [Announce] Erminig-NG: two-way synchronization Google Calendar <-> Fremantle Calendar

I've been using Erminig for quite a while now. Previously, I ran into the error after every sync, but this disappeared after I performed a reflash. Yesterday, I noted a meeting in my internal N900...

Re: Facebook app for Nokia N900?

Try Sociality, it's a fine FB-client.

You can share photos from the camera using the 'FaceBook sharing plugin'. You can find it in the repositories.

Re: [DISCUSS] SDCard Swap Partition Methods..

So, ok, I was out of line and I'm sorry for upsetting you guys. I had a small laugh when I was reading the comments; I can remember countless occasions where I responded in quite the same fashion....

Re: [DISCUSS] SDCard Swap Partition Methods..

I agree with others that it's plain unwise to write guides and let noobs alter settings they shouldn't alter. But on the other hand you have to realize: these 'n00b' people here that still ask these...

Re: [DISCUSS] SDCard Swap Partition Methods..

Maybe I've overlooked information and/or threads on here, but a couple of weeks back I did a reflash and decided on spending max. 2 hours on running the swap on the microSD. Bottomline, I couldn't...

Re: [Announce] Erminig-NG: two-way synchronization Google Calendar <-> Fremantle Calendar

Wow, HolgerN, thanks for picking up on the development!

A while ago, I tried running Erminig 3.0 (from the repos, check garage) on the N900 (Maemo5), but I was not able to get it together. I...

Re: WHATSAPP porting , need some help guys !

I'm willing to help this project. I have little C++ experience, but can help in testing, documenting etc. Can we setup some sort of versioning/GitHub/DropBox/SVN/w.e. place where we can share code...

Re: N900 AudioBooster

Nice, great to see this script is being upgraded to an application. This would really work out, as lots of users simply miss the ability to run scripts in the first place, and miss the courage to run...

Re: [Announce] kernel-power v47

So err.. well, this has propably been asked before, but is there any chance the BFS, wireless-patches and the DSP patches will be incorporated into one fully tested package? I myself think this would...

Re: [Announce] kernel-power v47

Well, basically, it's a graph. You enable and/or disable certain figures, until you know what you see. The colors near the despription relate to the colors in the graph. Easy way: deselect all...

Re: N900 AudioBooster

I twinkeled a bit with the lineout (for headphones) and now distortion is minimized, while the in-ears and headphones produce notably louder sound. However, I do not advise to use this patch, if...

Re: Twitter plugin for N900 Contacts and Conversations

I'd love to pay for someone fixing this plugin. Looking at the codebase over at the google project page, it seems maintained and the custom part for the Meamo implementation probably just needs some...
