i got the Alienware m11x ! it is the best laptop i've ever owned! they come in core 2 duo (799) core i5/i7 (949) despite the 11" screen this is one beast machine! i get 7-8 hours on low brightness ...

As long as it's QT it can be run on n900 :D although we might not get all the updated OS but at least QT is compatible with n900 and we can run future qt based apps on our n900

well there's no widget (as far as i'm aware) for call log yet but there's one for conversation which includes emails, sms text but yes the call logs saves your recent calls: incoming, outgoing, and...

1. yes. you can install this app where you get unlimited call log :D
2. yes sending text and IM are as easy as chatting on the computer since it's threaded ... making call is very easy also!
