wow.. you can even create base to fit zoom lens to N900 :)

pls do create four 1mm dots on the back cover that will prevent the back from getting scratched.. :)

Nope, if done properly - see Phones with full metal body. In fact, it can boost reception (even without using external antenna). I've already took this into account while making project :)...

I was thinking about making also "flat" backcovers for single battery, yet, I though it's quite pointless to replace same elements. For sure, "big" ones are first priority, yet, in case of enough...

Not "/dst-part" but "dst-part".
So: mount -t ext4 -o noatime /dev/mmcblk0p4 dst-part

With "/dst-part" you search on root dir and theorically dst-part is on /home/user, so wrong path

You got the spaces all wrong. Try:

# mount -t ext4 -o noatime /dev/mmcblk0p4 /dst-part

make sure /dst-part exists, obviously.

Try to modprobe -f. Drivers are compiled agains pre v50 version. lxp must recompile it against released v50 to avoid problems...

What prevents you from running it? Just enable it in the settings.
But I'm not sure that it's truly lighter. If you want something light enough for N900 try Lubuntu/openbox.
