You can debug the behaviour of your N9. In the file "/usr/share/dbus-1/services/obexd.service" add the "--debug" option to the obexd call. Then you can see debug messages in "/var/log/syslog". From...

I neither have a win machine, but when you plug in usb and select "pc-suite" mode obexd should be signaled. You could see it in the debug output. And a signaling should happen when unplugging...

GPS is always on even if I select WIFI based positiong
The close button is not an X but the current time

Yep, this is on my long term roadmap.
My idea was to present the user the list of available profiles in widget settings menu he can then order his profiles. The widget will then switch the profiles...
