you can disable R&D mode with flasher "--disable-rd-mode", but the "no lifeguard reset" function not working without it (i think).

I think .profile file not enough, you must install bash3 package, and edit root and user lines in /etc/passwd file (just change /bin/sh to /bin/bash).

Be careful with overwrite, cuz busybox...

NOT a good idea to overwrite /bin/busybox, this may cause issues... why I said this "opt and alias" method :)

No matter which size... Not too slow, but slower than without shadow :D
So doesn't negatively affect the gaming experience :)

Works fine and very nice, but a liitle bit slow with enabled drop shadow effect @1GHz
Could you implement zoom out function for easier pieces handling? Just an idea :)

first you need newest preenv, and jflatt's modified sdlpre library (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=923597&postcount=1123)
