Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

Thanks! I think it is complete now as /var is listed as last directory in the tree.

Ok, this is my review based ONLY on what i see there, so I may be perfectly wrong:

It looks like a complete...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

There shouldn't be needed much time to confirm injection is working, so maybe there is some problem with it....

Dead links and coming soon sound more to alpha than beta to me, but its ok, my main...

Re: [Under consideration] Remove 256MB limitation of the rootfs partition in the N900

An update about the mini_fo solution I proposed:

After enabling native compilation I discovered that mini_fo isn't updated anymore. The only update/patches available are those from the OpenWRT...

Re: [Under consideration] Remove 256MB limitation of the rootfs partition in the N900

@pelago

Probably the only idea that is worth trying is the mini_fo overlay. Which I would have already tried if I had found mini_fo.ko for titan's kernel.

I am downloading the SDK and will try...

Re: [Waiting] Remove 256MB limitation of the rootfs partition in the N900

If that's the ONLY reason, IMHO this option was wrongly ruled out.

For all purposes, the rootfs (not the original, but the original + overlay combination) is perfectly writable. Only for a...

Re: [Waiting] Remove 256MB limitation of the rootfs partition in the N900

First of all, sorry if I am posting about something that have already been covered. I have had my N900 for less than a month so I may have missed some older threads/posts even as much as I have tried...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

There's nothing stopping someone else doing it or "so unique" about this project except that:

1- It is *A LOT OF WORK* to port all the bunch of apps included in BT... Not to mention all the...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

[QUOTE=CrashandDie;768902]Maybe you can assure us that it works, but then again, we only have your word for it. And in these troubled times, and taken into account the fact you have no reputation to...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

Now I understand why you were so critic to people expressing their complaints:

It was not announced to be publicly beta released "shortly after" BH/DC (which could perfectly mean years after...)...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

If I were a kernel hacker (which I am NOT) I probably wouldn't even have any doubts about the packet injection matter, but I also do remember the not-so-far days when it wasn't possible for wrt54's...

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

First, and with all due respect, I have to ask if you can speak for NeoPwn.

My doubt comes from the clear inconsistencies between

and some of yours postings, for example:

Re: NeoPwn v2 = BackTrack Mobile!

This is all just plain nonsense.

So lets just try to clear some FACTS first, doing an historical review of the last weeks...

1) Exciting announcement about the great NeoPwn2 for N900 coming...
