This project is NOT for a replacement board but for a complete device, as stated in 1st post. Replacement boards will be offered but the price is for a complete device.

I think it would be better to stick to one distribution, so long as it doesn't impede performance of either device. I'm thinking if one device can get better performance using a specific compiler...

first we try to fix the fremantle core system foss bits to match the new hw platform.

Let me get this straight. You have a backup made with BackupMenu and want to restore your phone to that backup using Fasher? The short answer is you can't. BackupMenu uses the tar format and Flasher...

The only time I can imagine touch might give you that error is when either /opt or /opt/ovi-maps-cnfix does not exist. Please try
ls /opt/ovi-*

The second might be caused by a download or storage error, not sure...
