Gnome 3 on desktop PC, Pidgin client: Works fine! (I had the feeling that messages sent from the desktop took noticeable longer to reach the destination, but I'd need to check this.)

setMCBCFilter (8BFA) : set 1 byte & get 0
clearMCBCFilter (8BFB) : set 0 & get 0

Using usb-developer mode I get a connection to Pidgin, and contacts added in Squilla shows up in Pidgin.

However, sending messages from Pidgin fails.

Same issue as that described on Github by Tigre-bleu. I'm using Windows 7 (fresh install of Bonjour and Pidgin) and tried both Wifi and USB.

Thanks for the effort anyway, this is a long-awaited...

Unfortunately it is not working on my setup (Ubuntu with Gajim or Empathy/Telepathy).

As for Samsung/whatever handling of 4G, it is subject to exactly the same rules as Jolla is:
4G is only for packet data, no CS voice possible. (but PS voice in the future possible, when networks...

2G/3G and LTE (4G) cant co-exist in the way that when on 4G it is not possible to use phone for calls.
This is a limitation of the LTE/4G and was also the problem that caused Apple to not release...

4G is data only, and cannot make phone-calls. With 2G OTOH data and phone cannot co-exist at the same time. So it must fall back to 2G completely to make a phone call.

No, I guess that the courier company will contact you when your device arrives. Btw last couple of times when I received devices (E7 and Lumia 800) from Nokia they were shipped with DHL. Hope they...
