i'm new to all this myself, the way i got it to work was set up a queen beecon snippet with command echo "start kernel-maemo" | sudo gainroot
this runs the default kernal setting so sets my...

the kernel you are using is default at 800 and is permanent.
there are other kernels that will default at 600 with the settings above 600mhz being temporary or permanent (it depends which config...

i too had stuttering of music and desktop transitions with the 125 low setting.
titans latest "xlv ideal" kernal is my personal preference at the mo.
