Re: Alternative history: What if Jolla never existed?

Well, you wrote it's fiction, so that can certainly be. :)
But, for a less fictional history, I can tell you that while Ubuntu benefited immensely from your work, we started working on a tablet and...

Re: [Announce] Neverball and Neverputt

Hi! Just to reassure you, that I'm still working on the games. At the moment I'm busy with the N950/N9 port, though. The games are playing, but there are a couple of major issues which I didn't have...

Re: Problem with IM account

Same here. Since I experienced the same problem with Ubuntu 10.4, while 10.10 was working fine, I presume google changed something that rendered Google-talk incompatible with old versions of...

Re: Neverball a game that deserves to be experienced with an accelerometer

The fact that there's a package in extras-devel doesn't mean that the game is ready. :)
Now I believe I got it packaged correctly, but I'll announce it here when it's ready.

Neverball is coming :)
Blog post with video (http://blog.mardy.it/2011/07/neverball.html)

I personally don't find that the accelerometer input is the best way to control the game, but maybe it's...

Re: Mappero voice navigation: submit your voice, in your own language!

Mappero has the right features for me: I've stopped active development now, and I've instead starting a port to Qt to make it possible to run it in the future Meego OS. But also this work is...

Re: [WORK AROUND] sgx_misr randomly jumps to 98% CPU use

Waking up the device every 30 seconds is not very power-friendly either. Maybe there is some way to tune the N900 watchdog?

I'm rather careful about possible memory leaks when coding, and at least in my experience this does not happen with Mappero (at least, not in an easily measurable amount), even after 6-7 hours of GPS...

Re: [WIP] CloudGPS - smooth tile maps for N900, alpha 0.1 release
