I use astaro firewall, which is free for home use (up to 50 internal ip addresses). This has allowed me to setup site-to-site vpn's between my friends who use astaro and also a remote vpn connection....

Unfortunately out of the box n900 doesn't support the creation of new profiles.

I understand that there's an app called 'tweakr' under development to do this. depending on how desperate you are...
