I asked the same thing on meego-community ml, and apparently it is somewhat officially supported on netbook ux.

For programs primarily targeting harmattan, it might be better choice than QWidgets.

Please understand that meego runs on different platforms. You can go to meego bugzilla and check out what kind of problems they have. There is no sense going to GUI level before really basic problems...
