The STABLE versions are less likely to cause you data loss and instability, that's the criteria. The UNSTABLE versions are a lot more experimental and will probably increase more the performance, but...

i think a wiki with possibilities for Harmattan theming should be created considering the various requests...
You maintain a huge number of colors and I can imagine the chore it is to tweak...
