Re: [Announce] Opera Mobile 10

Awesome browser! looks good, is quite fast and very clear and easy to use. Just needs a few more things.
- Fix the settings save stuff, I have to go through it all over every time -__-"
- FLASH!
- When searching on google using phys. kb Enter key does not activate search. I have to press the "search" button on ts for search to activate.

But seeing as this isn't an official project and it's just released, it's friggen awesome.

It seems that automatic screen rotation when slider is opened doesn't work when i have usbnet enabled... No idea how that could be linked, but i can reproduce it with 100%

rm -rf /home/user/.opera
mkdir -p /home/user/.opera/ds

Commands done .. nothing changed.. same issue

You must install "rootsh"

after that just type this in xterm:
Code:

sudo gainroot
and
Code:

chown -R user:users /home/user/.opera

Thats great solution, its working fine now, and evrything saving successfully

But after apply this fix ..

- slow to open
- closed sometimes after open with 1 or 2 seconds

The .opera/ folder has wrong permissions, no user access.
Code:

chown -R user:users /home/user/.opera
should repair permissions to also make saving settings possible.

This worked perfectly for me! Thanks!

Is there any plug-in to enable flash? or at least enable youtube videos like firefox on n900 ?

maybe you have to close opera through the menu and not with the "x" to save the settings?

That's definitely not Swedish. Looks like something has gone very wrong with your language files. Can you try uninstalling Opera and reinstalling it to see if it helps?

i already uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. same thing.
these things always happen to me lol
is there a command to totally wipe everything oprea related? or does the uninstall get rid of all files

many thanks, i have always used opera on my mobile devices and it's great to finally have it on my n900.
i assume that this version of opera carries on the tradition of using far less bandwidth than the standard browser of the device it is being used on?
