Yeah that's only recently begun to be hypothesized...
Before that rumors suggested a slightly more "full-bodied" strata of software.
But in reality were all "reading teas leaves" at this time.
Time will tell, I hope it's not an Android like OS, but that may be the best we can hope for.

I think Bada is the closest relative. Bada is a real drag to develop and port apps for, that is the main reason it isnt soaring. The OS itself is excellent. If Meltemi really is a light weight Linux core with Qt on top, it sure will attract developers from all over. This is S40 type devices that will be sold in millions over night.

How so? You know this from experience?

Bada's doing okay, it's been doing way better WP.
WP looks like it might finally surpass it this year.
But that's only after huge investments by MS...

Hopefully yes, I was just ranting :D, I wouldn't buy a cheap piece of Samsung-branded plastic anyway. By cheap I mean cheapishly looking and forgettably designed phones, these things matter for me.

Yeah, well, it was an amazing 3 months while Nokia actually acted like they were going to support this device...

Well, what's the point of commenting on bugs for a company who will soon cease to exist.
