@cletus,

If your N900 only boots in R&D mode you have two options:

1. Reflash completely
2. Leave in R&D mode

If (1) is not an option (you say you cannot charge, so probably your USB port is busted), then just use option (2).

R&D mode doesn't cause any problems. Which flags did you enable?

My N9 after flash only boot on R&D mode...
In normal mode -> reboot loop
