Nice and simple.

While GNU/Linux (or is it BusyBox/Linux :p) isn't UNIX, the N9 is still better than any other phone out there and probably the most "unix-like" we are likely to see in a while :)

You're welcome, It's really just a fun side hobby for me. When I was using my N900 back in the day, I wanted someone to explain all of the mods step by step, after I became extremely proficient with the N900 and later the N8 and flashing both, probably flashed each over 100 times each, I decided to make the blog for fun, hopefully others get some use out of it.

I just take a picture I like, load it in Photoshop and crop it to the N9's display resolution.
You could do the same thing with GIMP for free.
It's pretty straight forward, just take a picture and try it with GIMP.

Maybe there is an even simpler solution, but I don't know it.

You can crop the image on the n9 itself, any image can be set to wallpaper
