Time for Nokia to Sue Apple!
 
As Samsung paid Apple because they stole the iPhone 5 project.. Now it's time for Nokia to sue Apple for stealing the Nokia Lumia (or actually the N9) design and putting it in the new iPod Nano, will Nokia actually Sue Apple and start a new war? Will Apple pay the whole $1B that they got from Samsung to Nokia?

Did you ever saw the ipod nanos before the N9 came out?

I think Apple could sue Nokia first....

These were squares :P But well, the ones right now are going to look a lot like the N9, I don't know if Nokia got the idea from them or not, but one of them should sue the other :D

Yeah. Samsung, htc, Sony, Google, nokia should gang up and sue apple and atleast force apple do use a regular usb connonctor.

The EU now requires all new "data enabled" mobile phones to be chargeable by micro-USB so as to reduce electronic waste, I believe China are introducing the same policy which makes not using a USB connector for the data transfer seem even more ridiculous.

Guys... Apple is releasing an Euro only microUSB to Apple proprietary Lightning adapter.

They're getting around that EU only rule - but let's hope they get fined if they decide to only sell them and not include them.

We were discussing this at work today. I think this is seriously BS. If the EU created that regulation, then WHY on earth does making an 'adapter' prevent electrical waste. It's still ONE more plug/adapter/cable that you have to buy and eventually throw away.

I hope they get a nice hefty fine.

More on topic. This is seriously hilarious! "A rectangle with sharp corners!" Actually if it uses the swipe from the side tech that the N9 does, I really think Nokia could sue on that, is that a hardware or software thing? (I am pretty sure it's all software, but I swear I had read somewhere that someone said it was part of the hardware...)

If NOKIA won a billion dollars from Apple, that would go a long way into the pockets of Steves.

If I were given a billion dollars, you'd be handling the best smartphone in the industry.

You won't get a patent on a design. You get a copyright on a design (unless the design has some specific and new functionality), but in that case it is not a design, it's an invention.

Apple was ruled to release official apologies to samsung. Now it's here.

Sneaky apple... That is no apology. They are just stating the facts of the ruling, no where do they admit that they are wrong, or even anything close to saying "Sorry" in any round-about way.

Heck, that page does not even have an Appl logo and it is on there website. lol
