Yep... fails. There's a lot to be said about that though. Dual SIM, who knows what else is baked in this new Sailfish OS build.

I find the .390 bit the most interesting. So far we have not had higher than low two-digit build numbers.

That's because we get RC numbers as final release, not build numbers.

Aurajoki, that is a river. Have the earlier ones all been lakes?

Lampi is not lake, I think?

Just keep checking the Mer project dashboard:

https://git.merproject.org/groups/mer-core

Dual SIM support has been showing up quite often in the commit messages there. :)

No it's not. It is a pond.

Sorry, couldn't resist. At first I tried to track the release names, and guess which was going to be the next. That was a doomed attempt pretty soon. The list of lake names went around at least once, and I fail to see the logic in picking the next name from the list. Ponds are fine, and I can tolerate river names. Heck, we can use even names of small streams, but I hope some common limiting factor remains. At the moment it seems to be "Name of any Finnish fresh water source".

I just wonder are there any refining factors like "naturally formed" or are we going to see lakes like Silvola or Kyrkösjärvi.

Perhaps Jolla uses river names in development releases and lake names in published releases?

How many lakes are there left in Finland to be used as a release codename?
That means we will be running out of updates very soon? :p

Doubtful. There's 187,888 lakes in total.

Would be funny to get build .4 of a branch, not.

apparently you can roll back by unticking the early release access on your jolla account. Probably better than wait for an update?

45? Not 43?

I got 43 via terminal. First impressions:
  • ssu re in the terminal says 2.0.2.43 but "About device" in Settings says 2.0.1.11.
  • All patches except "Return old pulley menu" still work.
  • The Browser and Email launcher icons are duplicated. The duplicates launch two instances of Browser or Email. One of them then disappears.
  • The whole device feels a bit less responsive than before.
Other than that, no big difference.

EDIT
More impressions:
  • Documents has a new icon but does not work. It pops up the cover with the spinning thingy but shuts down after a few seconds.
  • Ringtone has been reverted to the default. Considering what a hassle it is to change it, this is quite annoying.

EDIT 2
I take it all back. An upgrade to .45 worked fine. No automatic reboot this time, it asked me to reboot manually. The version in About is shown correctly. Documents works fine. The ringtone choice survived the upgrade. No duplicate icons n the launcher. Yeeey!!! :D

cant confirm. on my phone and tablet is showing the right version 2.0.2.43. But i get after restart the info that a new firmware 2.0.1.11 is available to install.

EDIT: same on Oneplus X

I think our different impressions regarding responsiveness is rooted in Alien Dalvik again. Afair you are not using it?
I am running whatsapp, skype, threema, googleplay + services and sailfish "Situations" firing up 3 native apps when detecting my local wifi on startup and activated background services for all.

Boot time stayed the same i think but after the homescreen has loaded the device is more responsive while loading up all that stuff.
I had times when my jolla was unresponsive for 1-2 minutes when google play decides to update many apps.

Now, after first reboot on Aurajoki, google play again updated 11 apps but i could meanwhile start all the apps you can see in the screenshot. :D
So i am left with the impression that dalvik has been optimized to be more "nice" (process priority wise?).

Could you elaborate a bit on what is less responsive for you, really interesting.

That shouldn't be possible, the Jolla has only 1 antenna
Maybe by switching it within the Simcard menu app, but that should already be possible without this update

hello,
Updated my tablet to 2.0.2.45 today.
Seems runnig bit better, browser has no shutdowns so far. Feels a bit faster.

I think I'll update my jolla phone also, but want to wait for some experiece first. Phone is needed for something usefull, tablet is just for browsing.

I wonder how many Aurajoki jolla's other than jollaC is running already?:D

sh... forgotten to disable all patches. Device started without problems. but I can't apply any patch. Tried to uninstall and install them again, that didn't help. So I have to search for the post how to cleanup. Can anybody tell me which patches work on tablet with Aurajoki?

Half of the patches don't work in Aurajoki. Mainly desktop related ones.
