hey guys i just received a message tha-tNokia N900 PR 1.4 launch Q2,2011and may have MeeGo1.2 with Dual-boot.
one more update yahoooooooo :)

That source is not credible at all. I extremely doubt a Pr1.4 will ever be released.

Also, they stated in Bugzilla that Hildon-Desktop will not be worked on anymore (unless I read it wrong) so the desktop speed spec is a complete lie.

I guess that this probadly is true. Would be stupid i Nokia didnt sync latest Qt on both N900 and the new symbianphones

So what we will get is:

* Updated Qt/qtQuick/QtMobility 1.1
* Maybe some small bugfixes here and there...

What whinners not will get:

* Flash 10
* OviMaps
* AndroidApps

What we already has is:

* Dualboot for Meego so still dont expect this for "endusers". It is still for geeks/developers and starts apps is still dogslow cause of the it is running from SDcard and to little internal memory.

I've just accessed youmobile.org, found the post, and the source for the info says meego.com and meegoarena, but searching both of those sites, I can find nothing about this at all. Unless I'm missing something. Should be fairly easy to find though, cos this would be big news.. Nice if it is true, but fear it is not.

would be a nice move from nokia to give out an extra update, especially when N9 seems to be +6 month away. But this is not a trusted source.

i dont think nokia keeps putting effort on maemo when trying to get meego right.

Nokia pushN900 my *** lol! It's not true! If it were a leak then it would have alot more info than just saying PR1.4 is coming.

I could also say N900 is gonna have quadruple boot of s40, s60v2, symbian^3 and maemo and I'm from nokia and post it on tweeter and on some public blog.

It wont be an update . It will be an upgrade . NOKIA will get your N900 and give you a N9 instead . Nokia called me and told about this .
