TGNT - NITDroid Games (Tips 'nd Tricks, GGsoul, Chainfire3D!)

Hello there, since the Android OS is well known for the tons and tons of apps present there, and since our beloved N900s can run an albeit good Android image, it sure is important that we talk about working/non-working and whatnot apps for NITDroid.
CUT THE CRAP! WE'RE HERE FOR GAMES!! So guyz, what Android HD/NON-HD games were you able to run? Include a description for what device the apk was for, and what device where the sdcard files for, but no links! ...or mods will fk us :p E.G. Asphalt 6 Adrenaline: apk device: Motorola Defy sdcard files device: Motorola Defy/Milestone result: Works better than any other versions video: if you have one, post it! Tips to Have Perfect Gameplay: 1. Have SetCPU installed, go for a clock not less than 805MHz, 900MHz recommended. 2. Have Chainfire 3D installed. It has lots of options to tweak your GPU, plus the ability to mimic other devices, e.g. Nvidia 3. Have swap enabled: Code:
rootGameloft Game Soul GGSoul is a nifty little Windows program that allows you to download the sdcard data files needed to run Gameloft games on your PC, so that you won't need to download them on your N900. 1. Unzip GGSoul.zip, then open GLZip.exe 2. Click on "View links in apk" 3. Browse to the Gameloft game.apk and choose it 4. You will probably get a link or two, copy them and paste each one of them in a browser tab 5. Hit enter on the first browser tab, download should start 6. Hit enter on the second browser tab, download should start 7. After downloads finish, on GLZip, click Unpack 8. Choose a file of the ones downloaded in step 5/6 9. You may have to point GLZip at the apk again, if not, it will start unpacking 10. A new folder will be created with the sdcard files there 11. If you have more than one pack file that you downloaded, be sure to unpack them as well, then merge all the unpacked files in one folder 12. You should now have a folder containing all of the sdcard files unpacked from all of the pack files you downloaded 13. Rename this folder according to the game's name, e.g. (Asphalt6 for Asphalt 6 Adrenaline) 14. Copy this folder over to the gameloft folder in your N900, (if you don't have the gameloft folder, just create a new folder and name it gameloft) 15. Boot NITDroid, the game should start and verify the files then enjoy! Finally! Chainfire 3D! I was finally able to successfully install Chainfire 3D and get all plugins to work! Here is a quick how-to: Prequisites: 1. http://hotfile.com/dl/136703575/3c04db2/CF.zip.html 2. A clean NITDroid with no Chainfire 3D ever installed. If you happened to install then remove Chainfire 3D, this won't work. If so, un-install then reinstall NITDroid. Steps: 1. Extract CF.zip to your N900's memory. 2. Boot NITDroid, go to the folder CF that you extracted. 3. Navigate to a folder inside CF called 1, install the apk inside. 4. Navigate to a folder inside CF called 2, install the apk inside. 5. Navigate to a folder inside CF called 3, install the apk inside. 6. Open Chainfire 3D, install driver, reboot, install plugins, ROCK! Let's share! |

htc desire z apk doesn't work with perfect framerate, if anybody knows a better version... samurai II: vengeance works pretty good, especially if you use wasd for movement and TS for attacks |

Fast 5 the Movie HD Game
Game Version: 1.0.3 i think it was for motorola droid x (if im not wrong) this game is not smooth while playing but still playable. download files direct from phone with wifi. |

Version: 3.2.7 For droid x. works great and smooth. Game: Plants vs Zombies Version: 1.0 works great. not for specific devices works with every device (i think). Game: Need For Speed Shift Version: 1.0.57 working fine. Game: Angry Birds Seasons Version: 2.0.0 working fine and this version is the newest which have Halloween season also. Game: Asphalt 5 Version: 3.0.8 this one will work really smooth for sure. i have played it and its smooth. Game: Sentinel 3 Homeworld Version: 1.1.6 working fine. |

Thanks for sharing. This sure will help lots of people before downloading huge amounts of data. Did anybody try to get Galaxy on fire 2? I saw lots of videos on it running perfectly in NITDroid, but I tried lots of versions with no success...

Version: 1.6.5 working great. no lags at all. Game: Jelly Defence Version: 1.06 working good. responds a little bit slow when selecting a mission but after that its great. Game: Doodle Jump Version: 1.5.1 working good. Game: Cricket Fever Version: 1.3 working good. force closed its self 3 or 4 times but now its fine. hey ammyt can u post a guide for how to put files in sd card for a specific game to recognize it. i want to play modern combat 2 but it take too much time to download its required files. i tried this many time but never succeeded can please guide me ? my games never recognizes those files and still prompts to download the required files.

works really good, and the screen is not cut like in the maemo version, output is scaled trough some GLES stuf in SDL and its a newer version, so it doesnt crash nearly as often... |

I've tried installing Chainfire 3D gazillion times now.Always get the same error,asking me to free up space..I cant seem to mount /system (atleast thats what i believe)..Have all of you succeeded in installing Chainfire?..any help would be immensely appreciated!

Good, I have an inquietud, hope that they help me because I do not know since it works android. and I go several days trying to install royal football 2011 and I cannot. I have lowered the information with the program that they mention in this post, but not descomprime. mistake goes out for me. I have lowered the information that go in sd of the game but when I open the game he asks for connection me to Internet. My question is the following one: the files of the sd, they are equal for all the telephones.? And is the one that changes the .apk? Thank you and I wait for his prompt help. |

i need your help again :( yesterday was the first time i deal with nitdroid just couple a questions 1-) how to overclock : saw some old threads about that and after installing setCPU it says cannot gain root privillages, also (su) permission deny on term-emu any solutions ? (btw n900 seems to be overclocked to 1150 mhz in defaults) 2-) and does sms/sending/receiving works *out of the box* or i need to untar this patch http://downloads.nitdroid.com/e-yes/...ril008.tar.bz2 ? 3-) and i saw a camera patch http://downloads.nitdroid.com/e-yes/.../camera.tar.gz did you try it ? 4-) and is there any changelog for 2.3.7 update ? and how much is it unstable ? 5-) http://downloads.nitdroid.com/e-yes/DroidSansArabic.ttf what to do with it ? 6-) and what are those sdcard files ex: Motorola Milestone ? everything in arabic is from left to right (not the correct spelling) any solution ? phh that's it i guess they were not couple questions :p sorry for raining you with questions but the problem is i don't have time for investigating and you are far better than me with nitdroid thank you /karam |

1) Looks like the mounting bug has got you. Are you on kernel RC6 or RC7?
2) Out of the box, however, some people had some problems with their providers, but you can sort it out playing with the settings within NITDroid 3) No, that's old stuff, will not do nothing 4) Pretty unusable, if you would ask me 5) What do you want to do with it? 6) If you are talking about games, then you should try different sdcard files, until you hit the sweet spot. Remember to share the spot with us! I have no idea about the Arabic spelling, you should contact mido.fayad as he is a NITDroid contributor. Please leave this thread for games discussion only, and post in the other thread. |

i have played Rainbow 6 upto level1 and after that i close it and reopen it to play now it said "this is not original game file" what to do now tried overcloaking in other case but not succesfull saying to install busybox installer, when installed not its saying not getting root.....:( and GOF2 show "file read error" when downloading file :mad::mad: please help

Finally, I got CF3D to truly work. I had the low memory problem but instructions on the first post added.
