Install *.SO files
 

Hi i want to replace the new swype keyboard with the old one but when i reaplce all the file the result is no swype keyboard, not even in LANGUAGE&DATE menu, so i realize the problem is with the libswype-keyboard.SO and i want to know if there is an special way to replace them, (an instruction on terminal, or something like that)

or even better could you please help me to replace the swype keyboard??? could i uninstall the current version and then build a deb with the older one and then install it?????

What all the file exactly did you reaplced?

That is a Shared Object file. Where did you find it?

You are sure that no API has changed between new and old?
You are sure that this is the only file needed? :)

i look for the entry files from SWYPE keyboard (dpkg -L swype-keyboard) an dNO this is no the only one i replaced, i replace the whole files in the list, but the result is NO SWYPE KEYBOARD as i said it didnt even appear on "lagunague&settings" option

this are the flies i replaced

i also compared the files between PR1.1 and PR1.2 and only two files are different

libswype-keyboard.so
libswype-keyboard.css

so... any idea???
