Here's another size comparison ;)
Size Comparison between GPD WIN and Nokia N810

I am going to try installing Arch Linux tomorrow because a user on reddit by the name of "Azelphur" worked around a few bugs and got the wifi working and the rotation crash fixed. :)

I will post a full review in a couple weeks.

For now, I am willing to answer any questions you might have. :D

It would be interesting to see the battery life of GPD.

This could be a nice Linux mini-PC, but somewhat pricey. Is the sound chip working (often an issue with Atom-based SoCs)?

Chinese 20000 mAh powerbank is often enough to solve most battery issues :)

It cannot make calls :D
This aims to be a portable gaming console, that is why it has gaming controls.

At a certain point i was thinking of building a similar device with an Intel Compute Stick, a 5 inch lcd and a bluetooth keyboard.

The Pyra also has an outdated processor and a much smaller application library. The Pyra would have been better if it had been made by some small company who would be better able to produce them in larger quantities for less money like GPD or even some company like Archos.

But the Pyra runs Linux out-of-the-box. What usually happens with devices like the GPD Win is that enthusiasts are able to get about 85% funtionality under Linux, and then they hit walls. There are half a dozen gnu/linux distributions that sorta, kinda, almost work on the Nexus 5, for example. The Pyra, if it ever actually ships, really will be a functional handheld Linux machine.

"If it ever ships..."

I am personally tired of that phrase.
