Hi, it's my first post an i'm new in here so sorry in avance if there's a similar thread or if it's not a proper sub-forum for this question. I have a problem with x-terminal:

Reading package lists... Error!

E: Encountered a section with no Package: header

E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/skeiron.org_repo_repository.maemo.org_extras-devel_dists_fremantle_free_binary-armel_Packages

E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

It occurs while i type a command like apt-get upgrade or apt-get remove. I've tried some advices from the ubuntu forum but nothing has changed.


I also have the other question, is there a list of repositories that are still active in 2017?

Hello

Welcome. It looks like you configured repositories on a dead mirrror, when maemo.org was moving out of nokia systems. Please look at http://wiki.maemo.org/Repository

Thanks for your answer, but it seems that Extras,Extras-testing and Extras-devel repositorries are fine, i have a few other which are disabled, may it be the source of the problem?
