cant read wav files
Hi,
i having exactly the same problem of an user that explained it in 2007... : "I am having trouble playing wav files with media player. I have two services that email me voicemail msgs as an attachment. They both use wav files. I get my email, download the attachment and media player plays it. However, with my work system, which supposedly also uses wav files, I get an error message saying "file format not supported". Anyone have any clues on how to play these files?I've tried opening them directly into media player and also saving them first. All my desktop software programs ply these files just fine. Why can't media player?" |

Re: cant read wav files
no one has this problem? i receive this wav file automatically from my ip phone solution. When i open the file it opens the audio player and then the message says that it can read the file because format not correct.
i also tried to send by myself to my email a wav file and i have another result : the n9 email soft dont show me the wav file, but instead a winmail dat files. Anyone tested wav files and email? if someone has solutions to this problem... |
Re: cant read wav files
I have this problem, too. The file is a WAV containing a GSM 6.10 encoded audio (mono, 8Hz, 13kb/s). My N9 says the format is "wrong".

Re: cant read wav files
I've noticed that my old notification and ring tone wav files from my E90 and N900 are not selectable as such on the N9. The N9 only let me choose MP3 files.
