Bumblr - QML/Qt based Tumblr app for MeeGo & Symbian devices.
It supports almost all the features that are provided by current Tumblr public API(v2) i.e., posting, reblog, editing, like-unlike follow-unfollow, tag search, etc.

Can't wait to try it out!

Side Note: when the binaries are up, maybe you can add "[Announce]: " before the title, so people know you're announcing an app and not requesting it. That way, more people will check it out =)

You should do it for coding competition :) But i think it's to late.

hi,
have tested your app and found a "bug" in your app or a problem on my phone.
after installing, there is no icon on homescreen, just a green icon.

the solution in this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=85653 isnīt working for me.

any idea?

btw: the app ist great!!!

:D I know how to display icon for app its just that I have not designed it yet!

Actually, I was placed 6th in my category(Network & Communication) and after I dunno what I'm suppose to get second share of bounty(I'm bit confused how it is shared) now!

I think there is no need for donation button since I've made app paid on the store. Project will be continued as long as I've interest in app dev & as long as time permits ;)

And disappointment was not because I didn't win prize or device because I already have a couple of them(though both black & would have loved to get N950 after I got 1st one of mine stolen f**king thieves someday I'm gonna kill them) but because I felt that people didn't found it useful & interesting enough!

well i for in am in love with Bumblr - its what Symbian needed for sooooo long and didnt have, cos Tumbly didnt work / wouldnt log in and the dev abandoned it.

Now that i've jumped off the symbian ship and now feet planted firmly on Harmattan, its needed, loved and appreciated!

Now i'm off to the store to buy it! :D

Good to know, but please do not create/edit your posts wriitten in language other than English.
Accidentally I chosed QString::toLatin1() for QString to QByteArray conversion and it messes the post.
I've fixed this with v1.1.1 but thanks to superfast Nokia QA it is not passed yet.
The QA guys tested Bumblr with device date set to 2011 and then failed it since it wasn't sending correct OAuth requests as timestamp was wrong! :mad: It has been over 15 days and it hasn't been passed for Symbian yet!

btw, what is MeeTumblr mate? ;)

The code on repo is for 1.1.1. It crashes if following blogs are more than 50, will update tomorrow v1.2.0

Working on a compact view as currently scrolling becomes scratchy when too many posts are loaded

Free version = Only access last 20 posts, only edit/create text and photo posts and lots of ads, no follow/unfollow
Paid version = More than 90 posts in dashboard, can create any type of post, all features that are supported by Tumblr's API currently
