[Announce] MeeMote - A remote control application for MPC and VLC
As a frequent user of Media Player Classic: Home Cinema, I've always missed a good, native looking remote control application for this.
That's why I'm proud to announce my first QML application: MeeMote, a remote control application for Media Player Classic: Home Cinema and VLC Media Player (using wifi) :D Features: - MPC:More features to come! Screenshots: http://www.markklaver.com/meemote/sc...ublescreen.png More screenshots here MeeMote is not available in Nokia Store anymore (due to its closing, and me not being able to update MeeMote anymore because of that, eventually rendering the app useless, since the MPC and VLC API's are constantly changing). It will be re-released as a free application for Harmattan somewhere in January. Thanks to everyone who downloaded MeeMote Free, and special thanks of course for the people who bought the full version :D Any updates will be posted on this thread obviously :) |

@nokiabot, Thanks! It's N9 only, since I figured the N900 does probably have an app like this already, doesn't it?
Updated to 0.6 btw :D |

Finally released 1.0 in store! :D
Next update will add more VLC playlist options (like organizing playlists), favorite locations in the File Browser, volume boosting and more :) |

Did you ever look into this one?:
https://projects.developer.nokia.com/vlc_remote I never got it to work properly, but it has a nice(r) GUI and is supposed to support album art. |

Nicer GUI is kinda subjective.. For instance, I only really like apps with the "native Harmattan look" (build with the standard meego gui components), except for games of course. Did you get this one to work btw? :) |
